Some people hate being told what to do or what not to do. Men resent it more than women. There is something powerful about the side-effects of being told what to do or not to do. This has been a problem from the beginning of time (Eve and the tree). It’s become second nature to be disobedient and rebellious. Being a child and always being told what to do 24/7 sometimes rolls over into people adult lives; Being told what to do, create a bitter, resentful and rebellious spirit.
From My Heart
There is a right way of doing a thing and a wrong way of doing the same thing. There will always be your way and someone else’s way of doing things. A part of growing up is learning and being taught. Being an adult doesn’t mean that you do what you want to do, when you want to do it, how you want to do it or with whom-ever you want to do it with. If you think back, everything you were taught, good or bad, it taught you wisdom and I’m sure there were lessons learned. But most times, we have to learn the hard way, right. If it were taught to you in love would you still be bitter, if it was taught you in anger, would the lesson be learned better??? A wise man listens to direction and prays about all things. Improvement is always a good thing. A hard heart is a foolish heart.
When my heart grew in love for you, after almost of year of still trying to make it work. You felt the need to tell me the story you once heard and I listened in tears. You said that there was once a girl, who had found a dead snake, held it and brought it back to life. The snake ended up biting the little girl and she wondered why after giving it life that it decided to bite her. The snake said to the little girl, that you knew I was snake when you brought me to life.
You were dead but I gave you life, I gave you my life in unconditional love. You were a snake with no conscience, doing what snakes do: kill, eat, sleep and wait patiently to kill again. You went and came as you please, I gave you my life to make your life meaning. Now, I lay you back down in the dirt as I found you: died, alone and lost in your selfishness.

From My Heart: The moment when there is nothing you can do, say, think, feel, pray, beg, cry could change that moment. You want to speak from the depth of your soul but all you can do is be still, wait, listen, accept and obey. Sometimes, in certain situations, there is no undo-s, redo-s, start over-s or forgiveness. Life goes on. Everything begins and ends. Everything has a start and a finish. Everything changes. Nothing stays the same. Everyone lives and everyone will die. People come and people go. Just appreciate what you have and trust God for the rest. Nothing and nobody belongs to you. So, when it’s time to lose what you have, give up what you’ve been holding on to…. Let it go, Let them go.
